- Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association will be hosting the 3rd annual Taste Guam! Hotels, restaurants, bakeries and other confectioneries show their culinary talent to the public at this event to promote their business. This event will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency Guam on Saturday, August 7, 2010.
- Artista Cafe and Maxi's Burgers & Shakes both restaurents are closed in this June month, both were opened just this year (Artista in January and Maxi's in April), Other restaurants that have closed recently are Kiyo Sato Japanese Restaurant in Tumon, COLORS Red, Nanay's House,
Old Hagatna Grill, and Wild Thai.

On June 12 and 13, the 4th Annual Agat Mango Festival will be held at Agat's Sagan Bisita will have a 5K run, a Little Miss Mango competition with a coronation ceremony and cooking competition using mango as a theme ingredient.

On May 23, Ebisu Sushi Japanese Restaurant is closed for a short holiday. They will be re-opening on June 7.

Guam's Own Rum and Guam's Own Whiskey are two newly-introduced naturally distilled spirits, produced on Guam by Guam's Own Distillery.

"Grills Grilling Competition" was held in the April month. The winner Team is PROA Restaurant, with kudos as well to Chef Paul Kerner (GCC) and Team Adobo.

The Hilton Guam Resort & Spa's Fisherman's Cove Seafood Restaurant and
Grill, which is being built in the same location that was home to the
Genji Japanese Restaurant. This restaurant is planning on its opening
April 29.

The island's first Brazilian BBQ restaurant, called Churasco Brazilian
BBQ and Salad Bar, located in the Pacific Bay Hotel. It's expected
opening is later this month.

- T.G.I Friday’s broke grounds on July 14, 2009 at Seaton Boulevard, next to Skinner Plaza in Hagatna, across from Chamorro Village. T.G.I. Friday’s is designed to seat a capacity of 250 patrons with a choice of outdoor or indoor dining. It is said that they plan to open doors in late October 2009.
- An exciting way to kick off April 2009 is to dine at the newly opened Meskla Chamoru Fusion Bistro. Meskla Chamoru Fusion Bistro’s owner and chef is Peter Duenas the star of the popular local TV show “The Outdoor Chef”. So if you seen him on TV, now try his signature dishes at his bistro style restaurant and bar located in Hagatna.
- Chili's, located on the GPO grounds will open in the early part of March. If you love baby back ribs, big mouth burgers, sizzling fajitas, and would love to wash it all down with a "Presidente Margarita", then Chili's is the place to satisfy that hunger of yours!
- Hooters will open March 11th at the Acanta mall. Hooters offers a variety of mouth-watering sandwiches, hamburgers, seafood, and their nearly world famous chicken wings!

- Arashi, will be opening up come January 2009 next to Winchells in Dededo. Arashi is a sushi bar style restaurant and offers a variety of quick Japanese meals on the go. They will open from 11:30am - 9:30pm.

- Port of Mocha Coffee House will open to the public come September 2008, and will be located at the Acanta Mall. Port of Mocha Coffee House offers gourmet coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and other delectable delights for you to indulge.
- California Pizza Kitchen will be opening up come September 2008 at the Holiday Resort Guam, in Tumon. California Pizza Kitchen offers a variety of specialty pizzas, salads, soups, and pastas. Some of the dishes include there popular barbecue chicken pizza, miso seafood salad, adobe chicken chowder, and jambalaya pasta. California Pizza Kitchen will open from 11am – 10pm.
- Barista Blends will open to the public come Sept 22nd 2008 and will be located in Hagatna. Barista Blends guarantees you'll enjoy their coffees, and offers a wide assortment of muffins made fresh everyday for you to savor.
- Papa G’s Noodle Station will be opening up September 2008, in the same building as Feather n Fins in East Hagatna. Papa G’s Noodle Station offers Chinese/Japanese style noodle dishes. Each noodle dish has two variations, one in soup and the other in stir-fry. All noodles are made fresh everyday. Prices are very affordable, and the quantity of food is enough to feed two people.
